Answers to the questions we hear most often.
Do I need a certification to order?
For most HVAC/R refrigerants, yes: an EPA Section 608 certification. For automotive refrigerant in containers over 2 lb, a Section 609 certification. Tools, accessories and small automotive cans do not need one. See EPA Certification.
Where do you ship?
To street addresses in the 48 contiguous U.S. states, by ground only. See our Shipping Policy.
Why can’t refrigerant ship by air?
Refrigerant cylinders are pressurized hazardous materials. DOT rules and carrier policies limit them to ground transport.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days, and ground delivery usually takes 3 to 7 business days after shipment.
Can I return a cylinder?
Unopened, sealed and unused cylinders can be returned within 30 days with a Return Authorization. Opened cylinders cannot be returned. See Refund and Returns.
Is R-22 still available?
New R-22 has not been produced or imported in the U.S. since January 1, 2020. Any R-22 we list is reclaimed refrigerant for servicing existing equipment.
Which refrigerant does my system use?
Check the nameplate on the outdoor unit or the label under your vehicle’s hood. Never mix refrigerants or charge a system with a refrigerant it was not designed for.
